1. Who we are

2. Information we collect

• Account data — email address and password hash when you sign up (Magic Link / email-password auth via Supabase Auth).
• Preferences — job categories, skills, salary and location preferences you set during onboarding or in settings.
• Job alerts & bookmarks — your saved jobs and alert filter criteria (e.g. to send email digests).
• Payment & subscription data — handled by Stripe. We receive the subscription status and period, not your card details.
• Emails — sent via Resend; we log which alerts you were notified about (no message content stored).
• Usage data — standard hosting logs used to keep the service secure and available.

3. How we use your information

• Provide and personalize the service (saved jobs, alerts, filtered browsing).
• Send job alert emails you explicitly create and enable.
• Process and manage subscriptions and access to premium features.
• Prevent abuse and keep the service secure.

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your data. We use trusted subprocessors: Supabase (hosting/auth/database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), and Cloudflare (hosting/CDN). Personal data is only shared with them as necessary to run the service.

5. Data retention & deletion

Your account data and preferences are kept while your account is active. Delete your account at any time to request removal of your data (saved jobs, preferences, alerts, email log). Payments history may be kept as required by law for record-keeping.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR / CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@getremotejobs.live.

7. Security

Data is protected with row-level security in our database (you can only access your own records), HTTPS everywhere, and security headers configured on all pages.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the site; continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
